Meet Lora Payne, the visionary founder behind LCVA Services, a trailblazing virtual business support company revolutionizing the way businesses work and empowering employees with flexible opportunities.

Lora Payne is the founder and director of award-winning virtual business support company LCVA Services Ltd. Based in South Wales, LCVA provides remote business administration, marketing and event support to companies around the world.

Lora started LCVA Services in 2018 after overcoming her own struggles balancing work and family life as a young mother. At just 18, Lora had her first child but was determined not to become a stereotype. She worked hard, gaining experience and education over 10 years before graduating with a degree in Business from the University of South Wales.

During her journey, Lora identified a major challenge facing most parents and carers: a shortage of employers offering flexible working. She founded LCVA Services to provide high-quality support for businesses in a flexible, tailored way, as well as a fun and rewarding place to work for staff.

Since launching in 2018, LCVA Services has helped educate businesses on the benefits of virtual assistants and flexible working, a message which has resonated even more during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lora’s vision is to help businesses focus on growth by taking care of time-consuming tasks, utilising technology to ease workloads. LCVA Services provides benefits like reducing HR costs, eliminating agency fees, decreasing stress and accessing diverse skills.

Looking ahead, Lora wants to develop LCVA Services’ online strategy to help more people find flexible work. With demand for work-life balance rising and employees seeking flexible roles, Lora believes this could benefit both businesses and communities by helping the unemployed return to work.

After overcoming adversity and following her entrepreneurial spirit, Lora has built an award-winning company helping businesses and employees across the country. As finalists in the 2023 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, the ‘Grammys of Entrepreneurship’, Payne and LCVA Services are inspiring others to pursue their dreams.
