In 2015, they founded Streeva, a UK fintech company, to address the frustration of manual tax reconciliation and the days wasted on expenses, bookkeeping and self-assessment.
The brother-sister duo engineered an innovative solution enabling receipts to be attached to payments without compromising data or the payments network. Their vision is to create a future where financial reconciliation, tax and VAT reporting are automated. Streeva’s first product, Swiftaid, increases Gift Aid income for UK charities and reduces administration.
Since being founded, Streeva has achieved incredible milestones, including two InnovateUK-funded projects and ISO accreditations ensuring high security and continuity standards. Swiftaid now has over 7 million users and found over £1 million in additional Gift Aid for charities in its first campaign.
Streeva’s goal is to continue reducing the £564 million in unclaimed Gift Aid annually and easing the burden on charities. They are also working with other sectors to address tax inefficiencies. Through innovation, they aim not just to patch problems but fundamentally change how things are done. Globally, billions are lost to payment inefficiencies, and Streeva strives to enhance economic systems.
Together they have built an inspiring company committed to positive change. Beth has emerged as a distinguished finalist in the prestigious 2023 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship.”
