Their innovative technology is enabling major companies like Unilever to capture CO2 from industrial processes and convert it into useful products, with the potential to remove 15-20 million tons of CO2 per year from the atmosphere in the UK alone.
This pioneering work has already gained significant recognition, with CCU International selected as finalists in the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023. Dubbed “The Grammys of Entrepreneurship”, the awards celebrate the UK’s most inspirational entrepreneurs.
Despite only launching last year, CCU International has already achieved exponential growth and is working on international projects across multiple countries. With ambitious plans to generate £1 billion in revenue over the next decade, Sharma, Doherty and Styring are poised to revolutionise the carbon capture industry on a global scale.
