Sebastien Vanderlinden

Yumi

Sebastien Vanderlinden, 27, is the co-founder & CEO of leading UK chewable supplement brand Yumi.

Having built Yumi from his one-bedroom flat into a successful brand, Sebastien was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year for 2020 at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Aiming to change the narrative around taking supplements, Sebastien has a passion for business and the health and wellness sector. In just four years, Yumi has seen significant growth with products stocked in major retailers including Holland & Barrett, WHSmith, TK Maxx and Urban Outfitters.

Recognising that taking traditional pills and capsules can be an unpleasant experience for many, Sebastien formed Yumi to help consumers to get all the benefits of vitamins in tasty gummy form. Having seen huge success in the UK, Yumi is now a multi-million pound business now on the verge of international expansion with plans in place to enter several markets across the world.

In his spare time, Sebastien acts as a mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds and is also a keen fitness enthusiast, competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
