Neeta is CEO at The Centre for Entrepreneurs, which supports UK entrepreneurs through research, networks and communities. It also runs the NEF Fast Track which is the UK’s leading development programme for young aspiring entrepreneurs. She is passionate about encouraging bright, talented young people to become entrepreneurs and is a regular speaker at Entrepreneurship events and conferences.
Prior to joining the NEF, Neeta worked in Private Equity working with technology start-ups and private investors. She has over 20 years of experience in the Corporate world, spanning financial services, media & publishing and education. She has also led a Fintech startup.
She is a mentor and adviser to numerous start-ups led by young entrepreneurs, is an Entrepreneur-Mentor-In-Residence at London Business School, and a Non- Executive Director at the publicly listed Allianz Technology Trust
Neeta has been recognised for her work in entrepreneurship and technology through various awards including a Special Merit award in the Entrepreneurs’ Champion category at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2015, Maserati 100 in 2016, Top 10 Asians in Tech 2017,18 & 19; Woman of the Year 2019 at The Asian Age Awards, Top 100 BAME leaders by the Financial Times (2018), Top 50 Women in Technology 2019 and many others.
