Paymon and Somayeh’s journey began in 2019 when they launched WordUp. They wanted to develop an app that could give everyone an equal chance to learn English, regardless of their background or abilities. Using AI technology, WordUp creates a customized learning path for each user based on their needs, interests and goals. The app features an extensive range of interactive tools, games and multimedia content to make the learning process engaging and effective.
In just a few short years, Paymon and Somayeh have achieved remarkable success. WordUp has received widespread acclaim, earning multiple awards including App of the Year at the 2021 UK Dev Awards and Best Digital Innovation at the 2020 British Council. The app has also achieved an average rating of 4.8 in markets, demonstrating its significant impact.
