He has over 20 years of experience as a Managing Director of companies across a wide variety of sectors, including Retail, Telco, Oil, Financial Services, Public Sector, e-commerce, ITO, Customer Services, Utilities, SME sectors and Charities/NfP.
Since 2014, Andrew built a successful Non Executive portfolio leading to several high return exits, which includes investing in the visions of various entrepreneurs in the North East.
Andrew is also a Vistage Chair, which is proven to be high-impact and effective in driving leadership development in scaling businesses – officially endorsed by the ScaleUp Institute in its 2018 review.
Companies who joined Vistage over the past five years grew 2.2x faster than average small and medium-sized businesses and in the 2009 recession, Vistage members grew 5.8% compared to peers declining 9.2%
Andrew also mentors for the North East LEP and Durham Business School MBA programme and is an advisory board member of the Experience Bank (A NfP enhancing the Non-Executive capabilities for entrepreneurs and scale ups).
