Emma was driven to launch her business out of a desire to provide comfort to those grieving the loss of loved ones. Her biggest achievement is the solace her custom pieces provide to customers during an incredibly difficult time. Beyond creating jewellery, Emma is devoted to supporting her customers’ mental health and grief journeys. She has received training in mental health, grief, and suicide awareness to better help her clients.

In just over a decade, Gemz By Emz has achieved tremendous success and recognition. Celebrities like Denise Welch, Calum Best, and Jacqueline Jossa have purchased Emma’s jewellery, which has also been featured on ITV’s Coronation Street and Loose Women. Emma won Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday award and was the runner-up in the Essex Business Awards. Her shop has been commended as one of the UK’s top 25 small businesses.
